Do you enjoy listening to bible stories? Would you like to hear the bible in a fun and exciting way? My family does, and we especially like stories that are dramatized with different voices and characters, and sounds from the background such as a storm, or sheep and other animals, etc. 
The World’s Greatest Stories is a dramatized audio bible. You can choose from the KJV or the NIV, and it is word for word from the scriptures. It is on CD and is fun to listen to at home or take with you when you are on the go. We especially like listening to audio stories when we are traveling in the van.
As a member of the TOS Homeschool Crew, I was given a copy of Volume 1 The Prophets, and a Sample CD with both the NIV and KJV, in exchange for an honest review. Volume 1 includes the biblical stories of The Blazing Furnace, The Handwriting on the Wall, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, Elijah and the Prophets of Baal, and The Prophecy of Jonah.
We really enjoyed listening to this CD. It is approximately one hour in length and it really captured and kept the attention of the children. Coloring is a fun activity to do while listening to this CD. But other things you might enjoy are walking, doing chores, and traveling. I used to listen to scripture reading when I went walking, but it was not dramatized. I think this would be a great gift to give someone who goes walking and likes to listen to the bible. It would also be a great way to practice bible memory verses with your kids and reinforce family bible learning time.
