Passover Lamb

Jesus Christ, Yahusha HaMashiach is our Passover Lamb.

He is the only begotten son of Father God, Yahuah.  Our Father sent him to us because he loves us.  He lived a sinless life by the power of God in him.  He was born of a human mother, and he wore human flesh just as you and me.  He walked on the earth as a human for 33 years, day in and day out facing the same experiences each and every person goes through.  He over came temptations and lived a sinless life.  He spent the last three years teaching about the kingdom of God, forgiving sins, casting out demons, raising the dead, and healing the sick.  He taught us to walk with God is to love and obey God above all else, and to love our neighbor as we love our self.

Then, as the pure Passover Lamb, he gave his life for me and for you, so we could escape eternal damnation, so we can be forgiven of our sins, so we can be healed, and so we can walk in an eternal relationship with Father God.  Jesus Christ is our mediator between us and God.

To accept his free Passover gift of forgiveness of sin, healing, and eternal life, we must believe he is the only begotten son of God, and that he died for us, conquered sin and death, and believe he rose again on the third day, and ask him to forgive our sins, and accept him as our Lord and Savior.  We must confess our sins, and he will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

My prayer for you today, is that you will love Father God and accept his free gift of the Passover, his son Jesus Christ, Yahusha HaMashiach, and that Father God will be glorified and his kingdom will increase in all the earth!

Be wise and be blessed!

Recipe for Fuitfulness

Would you like to bear fruit?  Would you like your children to bear fruit?

I came across a recipe in the bible.

It is a recipe for fruitfulness in our walk with God.

On judgement day, we will be examined.  Two specific things will arise and be examined.  First, are we a believer in Jesus Christ the Messiah and son of Father God and therefor have our name written in the Lamb’s book of life?  If our name is found in his book of life we will be sorted out from the unbelievers.  Those who believe will be placed on the right side as sheep, and those who didn’t believe will be placed on the left side as goats.   Next our life will be examined for fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God.  When he examines our life,  he will either say “well done good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the Lord” or he will say “depart you wicked servant”.

According to Jesus in Matthew 24, he will examine us by our fruit.  We are expected to produce good fruit for the kingdom of God.  Some produce 30, some 60, and some 100 times increase from the kingdom of God seed they were entrusted with.

“For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

Matthew 24:14-46

When he examines our life,  and he will evaluate if we were loving and loved our neighbor.  He will either say “well done” you gave me food when I was hungry, drink when I was thirsty, you cast out demons, set me free from bondage, you visited me when I was lonely, and cared for my needs”, or he will say “depart from me I never knew you”, because you did not have love, “you did not care for my needs, you did not give me food, nor drink, nor shelter, nor healing, nor compassion, etc”.

There is a process of maturing in our faith.  Father God did not leave us without a method for it.  He gave us the recipe for this maturing process.  It is like a young tree who after receiving water, nutrients, and sunshine it matures into an productive tree and it produces blossoms and then it is pollinated and then it’s fruit develops and ripens for harvest.  Our faith is also like this.  Our faith needs nurtured and matured so we can produce a harvest for the kingdom of God.

Father God gave us the recipe for producing good fruit. We are to first of all love and obey Father God with all our heart.  He gave us only 10 commands to live by and gave us the gift of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help us.  We are to believe in Jesus his only son who gave his life as a ransom for yours.  Confess your sins to Father God and ask for forgiveness.  Tell him he is Father God of your life and you serve no other gods.  Next, Love your neighbor as yourself.

Then we are to add one ingredient at a time, and then add the next ingredient, and the next and so on.  When we have added all of the ingredients, our recipe will be complete and our life will produce good fruit for the kingdom of God.

As You See The Day Approaching

These encouraging words were in my bible study today.  The words “as you see the day approaching” really stood out to me.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

and having a High Priest over the house of God,

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”            Hebrews 10:19-25

A few encouraging notes I gleaned from these verses are:

  1. We can boldly enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus.  He is the living way, he is the door, he is the gate keeper, and he is our passport and ticket in to the holiest place with Father God.
  2. Jesus is our high priest and he gave his pure and sinless body as a living sacrifice, and one time ultimate payment, of our sin.  He cleanses us and forgives us.  When you ask accept his sacrifice with an honest heart, and ask him to be Lord of your life and forgive you of your sins, no further sacrifice is needed to be in a right relationship with Father God.  Jesus paid the price and is the high priest.
  3. We can have faith and fully trust in him because he is faithful.
  4. As we see the day of his return getting closer and closer, we are to consider each other’s needs, we are to meet together and spend time together, and we are to encourage one another and stir each other up in love to do good work.

His return is closer now than ever before.  His return is fast approaching, and as we see the day approaching, may we be ready and wise.

Be blessed!

What God Has Your Attention?

Where is your focus? Does Father God have your attention or are you focused on other things, little gods that can’t save you? Because that is what this life is truly about.

Who do you serve? Who has your focus? Who has your time? Who do you trust? What has your mind and heart?

Jesus said: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

If you focus on material things (money, house, job, apparel, cars, computers, things you can buy, things you can make, etc) instead of focusing your time, heart, mind, and resources on Father God, it will lead you to hate and despise him.

“if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.” Exodus 23:33b

However, if you focus on Father God, that will lead you to hate and despise materialism, money, houses, job, apparel, cars, computers, other gods, people worship, cultural man-made traditions, things you can buy, and things you make with your hands. If you love him, and serve him as your master, then you will choose to literally separate yourself from things of this world.  That is what the word “Hebrew” means, it is “a child of God who has separated himself from the world” and serves only the one true Creator Father God.

“Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.”  Exodus 33:24-36

It is going to be one way or the other. But it cannot be both.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

Let us choose this day and everyday to separate ourselves from the lusts, desires, materialism, gods and idols of this world, and serve our only Father God with all of our heart, soul, and mind, and choose to make him our focus by loving him first.

Of No Reputation

Profound!

With all the “puffing up” everyone does to make themselves look important,

the one who is True, the one who is Life, and the one who is the way to the

Kingdom of God, that we are to follow and live our lives as he did,

surprisingly didn’t puff himself up.

He did not boast, he did not create the smartest resume, or attain the

highest college degree, or wear the latest fashion.  He did not try to impress

anyone, he did not have business cards to hand out. He didn’t sell anything.

He simply came in His Father’s name, spoke truth in love, healed others and

met their needs, and only asked that they believe in and obey Father God

and believe that he sent his Son to save them through the gift of his life.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
Philippians 2:5-8

May we learn to be more like Him, humble, filled with love, while we serve

each other in the Father’s name, as we trust, obey, and believe each day.

Happy Memorial Day

I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day filled with joy!

I hope you are able to spend this day with Family and Friends and time to reflect on those who gave their lives for preservation of freedom and justice.

There are many families around the world hurting at this time following World Wide Flooding and the Hurricane that recently hit Texas, USA. More hurricanes and floods are expected.  Several locations around the world are also dealing with massive forest fires, mudslides, and earth quakes.  Please remember these people in your prayers and help where you are able.

Whatever you do to day, also remember Father God (Yahuah) our Creator, and his only begotten son (Yahusha) our savior.   Some call Father God’s name Yweh or Lord.  This was the name of Baal in biblical times.  Some call the Son of God’s name Yeshua, and most people today call him Jesus.  I grew up calling him Jesus and that is what I have known him by for 40+ years.  But I have now learned this is not his true name.  What others like myself may not know and will be surprised to learn is that many years ago (1628 A.D.), those in powerful positions changed his name to “Jesus” in the bible writings when they reprinted the bible scriptures to confuse people and call him by a pagan god’s name.  They are calling him son of Zeus, or Baal, who goes by many pagan names.  This truth was very upsetting to me when I learned this, to know this lie had been done and people have been deceived for the past 400+/- years.  Up to this time in history, his name was written as Yahuah and Yahusha and everyone who followed Father God knew this as the name of the Father and the Son.  The true name can still be seen in the earlier print additions of the bible. However, once the name was changed in the reprinted editions, the deception has remained ever since.

Father God signed his name, his true name signed with his own finger, in stone on the Ten Commandments so we would know the truth.  Father God’s name is Yahuah.  His son came in his Father’s Name Yahusha (Yahuah Saves).

Keep your light shining bright and stay ready for his return.  He told us in the gospels written in the bible to be watching and he told us what the world would look like when his return is near.  He gave us several things to watch for including the similarities between the days Noah, Lot, Daniel, and Jonah lived on the earth.  His message is woven throughout the scriptures, but we can see clearly the details we must watch for in the bible books of Genesis, Daniel, Isaaiah, Jude, Matthew, Luke, Thessalonians, and Revelation.  His return is now closer than ever.

If you don’t know him yet, pray to Father God to show you the truth about his son.  Call on him and he will answer you.  Seek and you will find. Repent of your sins, believe in his name because he has been given the power to overcome everything in heaven and earth.  He can deliver and save and he can also cast souls into hell for eternity.  Fear his name.  Call on him.  He came in his Father’s name and he will freely give eternal life to all who call on him, believe who he is, repent of sins, forgive those who have done you wrong, and obey his instructions.

His instructions are to love Father God with all your heart, love your neighbor as yourself, and keep the 10 rules his Father gave us to live by, and produce good fruit with your life.  He will give you the Holy Spirit to help you live by these rules and produce good fruit.

The 10 Rules the Father gave us consist of 2 things to “do” (YOU WILL) and 8 things to “not do” (SHALL NOT).   When we violate these basic rules, we go beyond the boundaries our Creator set for us, and we loose our peace that he freely gives to all who will come to him and obey.  Be sure to read more in my post on Perfect Peace.

  1. You shall not have other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make idols. Do not make any images of anything above the earth, in the earth, or below. Do not put your trust and affection in any man made thing.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  4. You will keep the Sabbath day holy. 6 days you will labor and the 7th day is blessed and belongs to Father God. (The 7th day pattern begins each month at the first sighting of the moon. There are 4 -7th day Sabbath rests each month. The 7 day pattern cycles again for the next month at the first sighting of the moon. This is our Heavenly Father’s weekly and monthly calendar.)
  5. You will honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet. Do not desire your neighbor’s house. Do not desire your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant. Do not desire your neighbors ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that belongs to your neighbor.

Producing good fruit means that through love for Father God, and love for your fellow man, you reach out and help those in need by feeding the hungry, visit the orphan and widow, shelter the homeless, showing kindness to the stranger, heal the sick, visit those in prison, cast out demons from the oppressed, and set the captive free.

Yahusha said that when you do these things in love for the least of people (those who go unnoticed), that you have done it unto him and he will remember.  He also said others would know you are his follower by your love.  This is pure worship of Father God and what he truly desires from us. Pure worship is not religion, not politics, and not vain or pride.  He said he gave each of us “A Spirit of Love, Power, and Sound Mind“.  He also said “The Truth Will Set You Free“.  He will show you the way when you seek him first in your life above all else.

Perfect Peace

What is perfect peace?

With all the turmoil in the world today, I wanted to know more about finding perfect peace.

I think perfect peace is a state of contentment, calm, and total trust in Father God, no matter what turmoil is going on around us.

The opposite of peace is strife, fear, anger, covet, struggle, argue, fight, control over others, and war.

How do we reach and stay in a state a state of perfect peace?

The bible says the person who trusts in, and keeps their mind focused on, Father God will have perfect peace.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”  Isaiah 26:3

What do you place your trust in?

Do you ONLY place your trust in Father God?

Or do you trust in other gods???

What is your mind focused on?

A god is anything you place your trust in, your hope in, your affection and focus attention in.

People tend to have many little gods they trust in and idols in their life:

Money, job, home, land, vehicle, education, investments, retirement, social media, NEWS, music, TV, movie stars, doctor, pharmacy, pastor, church, sports, hospital, police, military, government, politics, etc.

When we place our trust in these, to save our life or better our life, they become gods and idols in our life.

Father God gave us 10 rules to live by and he signed them with his own name, YAHUAH.

We call these 10 rules the 10 Commandments.  These are found in Exodus 20:2-17.  Father God wanted us to think about them all of the time, morning and night, and to tell them to our children where ever we may journey throughout our day too.

When we violate these rules, we go beyond the boundaries our Creator set for us, and we loose our peace that he freely gives to all who will come to him and obey.

In these rules he commanded, he gave us 8 things not to do, and 2 things we must do.  Folks find it hard to follow these 10 rules.

When we break one of these 10 rules, we have sin in our life.  Sin is wickedness.  Father God will not fellowship with us when we are walking in sin, because he is Holy and there is no sin in him.  He asks us to walk in a holy life because he is holy and he is our father in heaven.

Father God sent a part of himself to help us overcome the temptation and punishment of sin. He sent his only begotten son into the world to live as a man, and teach people about the kingdom of Father God, to show people how to live and obey these 10 commands, avoiding deception, loving and helping others, and defeating the temptations of the flesh and Satan.

He had perfect peace.  He said “my peace I give to you.”  He told the people that he came fulfill the law and covenant all the law of God and the prophets could be summed up in this:

  1. Love Father God with all your heart mind and soul.
  2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Go about meeting their needs, forgive them, heal them.  When you take care of others and meet their needs with the power of the Holy Spirit of God in your life, you are honoring your father in heaven.  He said when you do this unto the least of these people, you are doing it unto me.

Then he chose to lay down his life as a perfect sacrifice for mankind to Father God so that everyone who believes in him, confessed their sins, and accepted him as Lord of their life, would not die in their sins, but would be forgiven by Father God be born again and have eternal life and eternal fellowship with him.

If you love him, you will trust in him only, repent of any sin, keep all of his commands, keep the 7th day Sabbath, and take care of others.  He will reward you on judgement day with eternal life because you believed in him, you trusted him as Lord God of your life, and you took care of the real needs of others and did not turn away.

That is our perfect hope! Our PERFECT PEACE is Yahuah (Father God our Creator) and through the gift of his son Yahusha (Yahuah Saves) we have eternal life, healing for our body, and perfect peace in every situation we face in this life.  Hallelujah!  Praise his holy name!

Be wise, be in perfect peace, and be blessed!

You Are The Temple

Why worship God in temples made by human hands?

As I have gotten older, and hopefully wiser, I have come to understand that the scriptures in the Bible point to the human body as the true temple of our Heavenly Father, not the church building or any other building.  We are instructed to care for his temple, our body, and care for others because they are also his temple.

“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

That they (men of all nations in the earth) should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.”  Acts 17: 24 – 25; 28-29

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

But he spake of the temple of his body.”   John 2:19-21

Buildings made by human hands might impress people, but they don’t impress God our Creator, our Heavenly Father.  Money donated (or taxed) to build buildings (or anything else) doesn’t impress him either.  He said a poor widow’s penny offered is more impressive than a rich man’s offering.  He also said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

From the scriptures we can clearly see that HE wants an intimate daily walk with us and for us to recognize a special day each week that we acknowledge him, and do good to others in his name, that special day he calls the Sabbath.  The Sabbath means the 7th day when God our Creator rested from his work.  He has asked us to do the same and keep it special for him.

The day of the week the Sabbath is on changes each year and sometimes even during a certain month of the year.  How you find the day is to learn when the barley is ready for harvest in the spring and the correlation with the first sighting of the moon during that season.  This then begins the year, and the Sabbaths of that year are on the seventh day and every seventh day there after.  This pattern of seven days should follow a 28 day rotation, with the full moon falling on the second Sabbath of the month.  Every once in a while it will be on a 29 day rotation with an extra day added at the end if the next sliver of the moon wasn’t seen until the following night.  If the month had 29 days, then the next pattern of “first day” and “seventh day” will shift forward by one day and then continue forward on 28 days again with each month having 4 Sabbaths and then repeating.   Today in our modern society, few people keep the true Sabbath of Father God, but instead they set a certain day such as Sunday or Saturday or Friday as their day of worship when they go to temples made with human hands.

What blesses Father God is pure worship and love for him from our heart and caring for the needs of our fellow humans.

Check out these verses from Isaiah 58 about what pleases God the Father:

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.

Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord?

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.”   Isaiah 58

May we have the desire to draw near to HIM, our Heavenly Father, through faith and forgiveness found in his only begotten son Jesus who has shown us the truth and the way, and seek his face and learn his ways, and obey and be found faithful.

Be blessed!

Look Up

Thinking about the reunion.
It will be soon.
I hope you will be there.
When we meet the groom.

His dad sent the invitations.
I received mine and accepted.
I proclaimed my reservation to all who were receptive.

Some were willing to hear his message,
But not all appreciated the simple package.

Some laughed and said “about the return of Jesus you must be confused.
There are no miracles today, the prophets died long ago,
and the return of the groom is a long way away.
We would have heard it in our grand churches and in our pews.
Such an invitation would have come from the pastors with mega buildings,
fine words, and also those on TV who speak the news.”

Others hearts were too hard for the seed to penetrate.
Their hearts were filled with pride, bitterness, and hate.
Some laughed and said they’re busy and earning reputations and money
They would rather choose their own path rather than the path of one who willingly hung on a tree for you and me.

Many heard the news but most failed to make room.
Their calendars too full to pencil in the feast with the groom.
His Dad tried again, and again.
To remind them the appointed time of the wedding was soon.

Busy lives and reservations unanswered
But the Father’s love would not be hindered.
So he sent out more.  He even knocked on each door,
Before the end begins, He sent more messengers.
He is still calling and waiting for their answers.

It is just about time.
I am ready to go.  I can’t wait!
Be ready. Keep your lamps full and burning bright.
Look up. To this wedding we won’t be late!

Be Blessed Dear Friends.
Look up!  The time is drawing near for the return of Jesus for his bride.

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
“The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:1- 14

Lead Me In The Way Everlasting

Do you ever have a restless night when it is hard to sleep?  What do you do during those times?  Do you worry about your day?  Do you worry about tomorrow?

When a lack of sleep happens to me, I try to spend those hours laying in bed praying and seeking the Lord instead of worrying.   There is a peace that takes over your heart and mind when you seek God and ask Him to lead.

A wise man wrote:  “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”   Psalm 139 : 23 – 24

Jesus said to pray like this: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”  Matthew 6 : 9 -12

Worry is the opposite of faith.  Worry is fear.  It is a lack of faith.  Faith comes from hearing the word of God and putting your hope and trust 100% in what God has said and seeing his word manifest in your life.  God is faithful and he will always take care of you.  He is the living water of life that never runs dry.  He will always answer your call to him and will always provide for you. He loves you and forgives you and delights in guiding and caring for you.

I just wanted to encourage you to ask God to lead you today and everyday in HIS way, because you can trust Him that his way is true and will last forever.

Be blessed!
