Have you tried prenatal vitamins before? Oh my, they are usually huge ugly pills, especially if they are “all natural”. If they are small, you are typically required to take more than one. I used a brand one time that required 6 capsules a day. Needless to say, I did not like taking my vitamins.
But I learned about a whole new breed of prenatal vitamins last summer called Premama and they are absolutely the easiest prenatal I have ever taken. I was sent a sample to review and host a giveaway and I was very impressed. Be sure to read my review.
Premama is a powdered multi-vitamin mix. It is all natural and there are no preservatives, no artificial colorings, no artificial flavorings, no binders, etc. It is tasteless. Just pour and stir the powder right into a glass of juice. Premama is so easy and beneficial to take without all the drama of trying to swallow a dreaded pill.
I enjoy it with orange juice, tangerine juice, pomegranate juice, blueberry blend, and apple juice. My favorite is both the orange juice, and the pomegranate juice. This vitamin is easy to use at home, or when you are on the go. Just keep a few extra packets in your purse and have them available when ever you and where ever you are. The pre-measured packets are very small and do not take up any room in my purse at all.
Why should I take a prenatal vitamin? It is recommended for all women of child bearing age (15-50) take a prenatal vitamin. Whether you are pregnant, nursing, trying to get pregnant, or not, it is good to take it to be safe. You just never know when you might become pregnant. Taking a prenatal vitamin can reduce your risk of birth defects by almost 70%. You do not have to be pregnant or nursing to use this vitamin, any woman of child bearing age can use it.

Premama Party
I had the privilege of hosting a Premama Tasting Party with several moms from our local 4H Club. I was sent a party kit that contained vitamins for the party, vitamins for giveaways, a gift card to purchace various juices, and suggested party ideas. Here are some pictures stirring Premama into a glass of juice.
It disolves in the liquid. You can not detect the vitamin flavor, and if you like drinking juice or milk, it is easy to get your vitamin intake using this method.
Our Premama Tasting Party involved mixing the powdered vitamin packets into three different juices: Tangerine, Apple Raspberry, and Grape. I had the moms all take turns opening the packets themselves and stirring it into a glass of juice. The were amazed that the powder just disappeared. Then we filled small cups with the various juices & Premama blends.
Each mom took turns trying out each fruit juice mixed with Premama.
Though they all tasted great, and you could not detect the vitamin powder, by far, the consensus was Grape juice as the favorite. The Apple Raspberry was a close second. Personally, I like all the juices I have tried with Premama. If you like the flavor of the juice by itself, then you will like the taste of the juice with the vitamins mixed in because they do not change the taste.
Winners: These moms won door prizes and each took home a 30 day supply of Premama Prenatal Vitamins.
This mom was especially happy to receive these vitamins. She is due to have a baby in August. This is her fourth baby and she is very excited. She shared how terrible she feels when trying to take a regular prenatal vitamin, and how hard it is to swallow. She said she really liked the Premama, it was easy to swallow in juice, and this will be a definite improvement for her prenatal vitamin. She said she would encourage her friends to try Premama too.
I have also heard back from the mom who won the giveaway last summer. She loves her Premama prenatal vitamins. She was pregnant with her third child and she was having a very hard time with nausea until she started using Premama. She was telling all her friends how wonderful Premama was for her. La
st week she delivered a healthy baby boy. Congratulations!
