You can check it out for FREE, and if you like it, then you can buy an inexpensive online user license for $29.95 and download the program to help your students improve and master their math facts. It is also available on a CD for $35.90 and an additional $5.95 shipping.

We received a download copy of the program to review with our kids.  It was very easy to install the user license and the program.  It took less than a minute and the program was up and running. 



I set up a practice page and chose the skills I wanted the children to practice on.  Each time my child answers a question correctly in under 3 seconds, they receive special “SUPER”congratulations.  I love using the detail report and the progress graph and visually seeing how my child is doing and where we need to continue to practice. 

My opinion is that CapJaxMathFax is an easy way to practice math drills vs. using math flash cards.  It is nice that the computer program can keep track of the skill and performance level and has a built in stop watch and scoring.  It can be challenging to beat your own time and improve your score. 

I think this program can be a great help to kids who are needing to practice their math facts and develop their confidence in using basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  I think this program will help my own children become quicker in their figuring of math problems as they try to improve and beat their previous score. 

There are 4 merit badge buttons you can buy to celebrate your students achievement as they progress through the program.  These can be used in their portfolio, pinned onto a shirt, hat or vest, or onto a wall hanging.  These merit badges are great encouragers in mastering the program.  There are also detail and summary reports that you can print, and use as certificates for achievements in the program if desired.

On the CapJaxMathFax website, you can access a free Functional Math Skills Analysis to use to check if your child is ready to advance into harder math skills such as Algebra and Geometry.  The teacher will receive a computerized report that points out the students strengths and weakness in math so they will know what steps to take to help their student improve and be ready for the next level of math.
