Finger Nail Right Of Passage

Imagine if you will, the whole family gathered round my 4 year old daughter as she gets her nails painted for the first time!

Daddy got the honors of painting the nails of his princess.

All four of her brothers gathered round and watched as daddy tediously painted each toe and finger nail.

After playing with a homeschool friend in the park, she came home and talked non-stop about wanting to have her nails painted with pretty colors and sparkles.  Up to this point, we have not encouraged her to paint her nails, but in the back of our minds we knew this day would come some time.

With the help of her brothers, she picked out what colors she wanted.

But within a few hours, she changed her mind.  Dad had to paint them all over again.

Thankfully, he didn’t mind and she got a whole new set of colors and sparkles.

She is one happy princess!

Too sweet! even more so that her dad did the manicure/pedicure!

Zoe went through a stage of liking all that but now if I suggested it she would roll her eyes. I’m sure she will go through it all again when she is a teen. haha.
